Development of the Doyle Drive environmental and technical studies requires coordination between multiple responsible and participating agencies. Each of the following agencies have responsible roles in the preparation of the Doyle Drive Environmental and Design Study EIS/R:
San Francisco County Transportation Authority (the Authority) - California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) lead agency and project sponsor
Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) - National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) lead agency
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) – California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) responsible agency, owner and operator of Doyle Drive, and technical oversight on behalf of FHWA
The Presidio Trust – NEPA cooperating agency
United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) - Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) – Land management agency for the Presidio Area A, consulting agency under the National Historic Preservation Act. The NPS is a NEPA cooperating agency for preparation of the EIS/ EIR.
Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District (GGBHTD) – CEQA responsible agency
Department of Veteran Affairs - NEPA cooperating agency and land management agency of the Presidio National Cemetery |
