A comprehensive outreach program that actively involves the public and other interested parties, throughout the process, is vital to ensure that the Doyle Drive Environmental and Design Study reflects community needs and agency requirements.
Recognizing the important role that all stakeholders play in the project's success, the San Francisco County Transportation Authority, along with Caltrans and the Federal Highway Administration, have implemented an outreach program using the following public involvement methods:
- scoping meetings
- public open houses and public hearings
- key stakeholder interviews and briefings
- ongoing technical and community meetings
- project open houses and community workshops
- project information materials such as newsletters and fact sheets
The study process offers a wide variety of opportunities for you to have a voice. We encourage you to provide your ideas and opinions about transportation needs, environmental considerations and your vision for Doyle Drive.
